Dr OssakowSteven J. Ossakow, M.D. F.A.C.S., graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and has a special interest in Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgeries. He completed his Otolaryngology residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor. He is the past president of the Medical Staff at Mercy Medical Center, is a member of the Credentials Committee and the Past Chairman of the Department of Surgery. Dr. Ossakow has taught Otolaryngology at various Universities including Case Western Reserve and the University of Miami. He currently holds memberships to the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Medical Association, Stark County Medical Society, University of Michigan Alumni Association, is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He holds his Medical License in Ohio, Michigan and Florida. Dr. Ossakow has published work on Esophageal Reflux and Dysmotility as the Basics for Persistent Cervical Symptomatology along with presentations in the History of Hearing Aids and continues his education through many educational seminars.

 

Dr RamseyKent L. Ramsey, M.D., graduated from The Ohio State University School of Medicine after receiving the Rusoff Academic Achievement Award for being the first in his class. He completed his internship and residency at Stanford University Medical Center. He has been a clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine and has been published in several medical journals. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Ramsey practices general Otolaryngology and has special interests in Otology, Pediatrics and Sleep Apnea. He is a Canton native and Hoover High School Graduate. He is very active in his church and enjoys working at his horse farm and playing guitar in a classic rock band.

 

 

Dr BogdanCharles J. Bogdan, M.D. F.A.C.S., received his M.D. from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery in addition to Board Certification in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Bogdan has special interest in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Procedures of the Head and Neck, Laser Cutaneous Surgery, and thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Dr. Bogdan has served on Cancer Committees at Mercy Medical Center as well as Aultman Hospital along with serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Mercy Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Medical Association, the Stark County Medical Society, and the Northeastern Ohio Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He remains involved with academics at University Hospitals of Cleveland and has authored several research and medical articles.

 

Dr SmitDarrell R. Smith, M.D., F.A.C.S., graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Wisconsin. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology as well as the American College of Surgeons. He is published in multiple academic journals. He practices the full spectrum of Otolaryngology with his professional interests including Otology, Head and Neck Oncology, Endocrine (Thyroid and Parathyroid) surgery, as well as management of chronic sinus disease (utilizing the latest technologies including balloon dilation). Dr. Smith is a Canton native. His hobbies include anything involving his four children, golf, and snow skiing.

 

 

Dr BresciaAaron I. Brescia, M.D., received his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo. He then went on to complete his Otolaryngology Residency Training at the University Hospitals of Cincinnati including extensive training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, one of the nations busiest Children’s Hospitals. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Brescia is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.  Dr. Brescia is a native of Northeast Ohio and is excited to have returned to the Canton area to raise his two sons with his wife, Cristin.
