WHAT IS AN AUDIOLOGIST?

An audiologist is a healthcare professional who specializes in diagnosis and treatment of hearing impairment and vestibular (balance) disorders for people of all ages.  Audiologists hold Master's and/or Doctoral degrees from nationally accredited universities.

With an average 6-8 years of education and training, Audiologists are experts in the assessment,prevention and non-medical treatment of hearing disorders. Ohio Head & Neck's four Masters and Doctorate level audiologists have a combined experience of over 45 years working with patients in Canton, Ohio.

AUDIOLOGY SERVICES

Our audiologists evaluate hearing loss and balance disorders, service hearing aids, provide aural rehabilitation, educate the public on the effects of noise, identify/manage tinnitus (ringing in the ear) and provide limited treatment for vestibular disorders. We provide several manufacturers and styles of hearing devices, as well as assistive devices (amplified telephones, TV Listening Ears, alerting systems), and counseling regarding hearing loss.

Our audiologists work by scheduled appointments. Available Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
